What helps sell our items is customer feedback and reviews, if you have an issue with your order, no matter how small the reason, please send us a message through etsy or email us info@cherishkeepsakes.co.uk to see if we can resolve the issue before leaving us negative feedback in most cases we can resolve any issues.  Customer satisfaction is our priority and we will work hard to maintain a high standard, we would really appreciate having the opportunity to fix any issues you have straight away.

At CherishKeepsakes, we pride ourselves on our services, fairness of policies and clarity to both ours and your expectations. Please read the following in its entirety.

1. General

CherishKeepsakes, including subsidiaries and affiliates (“http://www.vicotoriadesigns.com/” or “we” or “us” or “our”) provides the information contained on this website or any of the pages comprising the website (“www.cherishkeepakes.co.uk”) to visitors (“visitors”) (cumulatively referred to as “you” or “your” hereinafter) subject to the terms and conditions set out in these website terms and conditions, the privacy policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which may be applicable to a specific section or module of this website.

2. Information on the Website

Whilst every effort is made to update the information contained on this website, neither the Website Owner nor any third party or data or content provider make any representations or warranties, whether express, implied in law or residual, as to the sequence, accuracy, completeness or reliability of information, opinions, any share price information, research information, data and/or content contained on the website (including but not limited to any information which may be provided by any third party or data or content providers) (“information”) and shall not be bound in any manner by any information contained on the website. the Website Owner reserves the right at any time to change or discontinue without notice, any aspect or feature of this website. No information shall be construed as advice and information is offered for information purposes only and is not intended for trading purposes. You and your company rely on the information contained on this website at your own risk. If you find an error or omission at this site, please let us know.

3. Orders

3.1 When you place an order, we will correspond to the email provided, to confirm an order has been accepted, thus the contract between us is initiated.

3.2 Upon placing an order for any of the rings, it is your responsibility to make sure the correct size is checked and correct, as we are unable to amend or refund after its creation.

4. Availability

All items of jewellery are subject to availability. Demand may affect our current stock held, requiring an additional 7 working days on-top of our agreed timeframe for you to receive your completed items back.
In the unlikely event that the supplier is out of stock, there will be 2 options; cancelling your order or waiting until the piece is back in stock (usually around 2 weeks). If jewellery is selected in another metal i.e Yellow Gold, White Gold or Rose Gold, these are custom made and take 5 weeks to complete, unless purchased as a lone item in that choice of metal only, therefore the 14-21 day timeframe applies.

5. Amending orders & Cancellations

5.1 At the point of ordering, if you change your colour choice or customised request, please contact me as soon as possible. I do endeavour to accommodate your requests. Once your jewellery has been created it is not possible to amend any particulars.

5.2 Cancellations are accepted up and until the point your inclusion has arrived at our workshop. The cost of return postage of your inclusions will be deducted from your refund.

6. Inclusions

6.1 CherishKeepsakes is not liable for any inclusion(s) lost in transit to our workshop. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that it is packaged as per the FAQ section, the cost of which is the responsibility of you.

6.2 Once your inclusion(s) are received by us, every care and respect, is taken for its security. All inclusions are individually identity labelled and kept in an onsite safe. Only once we begin work on your order, do we remove from the safe, and replaced once your order is complete.

6.3 Any unused ashes inclusion will be returned with the completed order.

6.4 Any unused preserved breastmilk powder will be disposed of. Unless requested back with your order. Or, kept in named sealed bags within a secure file system, in the case of returning customers. And stored breastmilk will be help for a period of 24 months; after-which it will be safely disposed of.

7. Timescales

7.1 We aim to complete and return orders within 15 – 20 working days from the point in which your inclusions are received by us. If there is a delay, I will contact you via email to discuss.

7.2 Large orders may take slightly longer. This is dependent on the variants. This will be discussed our initial email correspondence, upon accepting the order.

8. Completed orders

Once your order is finalised, we will update you and email photographs of your completed items.

9. Delivery

9.1 Every order will be returned to the address stated on your order form, via Royal Mail, 1st Class Signature service. All prices include delivery.

9.2 If the order is a gift and requires posting straight to the recipient, please state this at the point of ordering. I will ask for confirmation of the return address once your order is complete.

10 Returns & Refunds

We take immense pride in our bespoke services and make every effort to create the item(s) of jewellery that you expect. However, in the unfortunate instance that you are not completely satisfied with your order, please get in touch to discuss.

10.1 Returns/refunds are not possible unless faulty, this in line with Distance Selling Regulations.

10.2 We catalogue every order with a timeline of photographs taken during every process of creating your order(s) These are available upon request. And every care is taken to package your completed item(s), so that it arrives safely and undamaged to you.

10.3 In the highly unlikely event that your jewellery does arrive damaged or faulty, please contact me within 3 working days so that the issue can be resolved without prejudice.

11. Remittance terms

Full payment must be made before any completed orders are shipped.

12. Product guarantee

All products are covered by our ‘’1 Year Stone Guarantee’’ This means that if your stone tarnishes, through general wear, within this period, we will re-glaze.
This guarantee is free of charge. You, the customer will be responsible for return postage.

This does not cover damage caused to the setting that the stone is in, or the chain that pendants are sent on.

13. Terms and conditions amendments

CherishKeepakes, reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time, in line with changes that effect the business.

All our postage to UK mainland is free of charge.

Our company is called Cherish Keepsakes and we are a bespoke jewellery and resin casting company based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, UK.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We do not actively collect personal data for marketing purposes unless an explicit opt-in is provided or we have a legitimate reason to contact you. The only data we store is covered by the key lawful basis for data processing set out by ICO in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Your name and contact information will be stored with your consent (or implied consent such as making an enquiry on our website) so that we may contact you in relation to your enquiry.
  • We will only keep your contact details for marketing purposes if you explicitly opt in to our mailing list.
  • If you are an existing customer we may also opt you in to our mailing list under the legitimate business interest basis for processing your data. You will be given the opportunity to opt out in the footer of every marketing email you receive from us thereafter.
  • We may contact you in relation to an ongoing contract.
  • We may contact you in relation to legitimate business interest.
  • Your data will be kept on record for financial accounting purposes which we are legally required to maintain records of.

Our website uses cookies to help us to monitor traffic through our website. We use Google Analytics. All data is anonymous and no personal data is collected.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Contact form submissions to this website are collected and processed by us. By completing the contact form you are giving us permission to contact you under the lawful basis defined as ‘legitimate business interest’. Your personal data is not used for marketing purposes unless you become an active customer, in which case we may contact you under the legitimate business interest claus or in relation to your contract. The details of your enquiry will be kept until the query has been resolved and then retained for statistical purposes. Your data will only be used by the company for the purpose of answering your query unless you have opted in to receive marketing communications.

Akismet is currently disabled on this website.
We collect information about visitors who comment on websites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the website, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
